Transforming to meet customer needs, is something Scott McKay, founder of WIP, knows all too well. He began in 1981, working for one of the first private telephone companies. Deregulation of the telephone industry opened the flood gates for ambitious entrepreneurs. He worked with the business side of GTE for commercial customers.
GTE turned into Verizon and moved all there work force to the cellular division.
Commercial telephone systems were the corner stone of business communications.
WIP was born with a communication background and work ethic to support existing and new customers.
Over the last three decades, he’s weathered transitions in networking, cabling, fiber optics, audiovisual integration, and more. His is a story of continual reinvention to keep up with technology and to meet the needs of clients. It’s only fitting that WIP would become a long standing member in the technology industry, continuing the pattern of innovation to be better in every aspect of the business.
